The idea for Twenty Somethin’’ and Black manifested after an initial phone call. Ladies, you know, those weekly phone calls with your bestie where you vent about everything that went on in the week (from highs, to lows, to just plain crazy)? Well, during one of those conversations something clicked. “Wouldn’t life be so much easier if there was a manual or something on ‘How to be young, black, successful, and educated?” This was the question that inspired the entire “Twenty Somethin’ and Black” movement.

Twenty Somethin’ and Black is an online resource for young women (specifically, of color) who are simply trying to “get it together” when it comes to advancing their career, finances, traveling, and more. Here you can find content designed for the young professional/recent college graduate, featuring posts based on finance, health, career, fashion, and lifestyle. Your 20’s are a time to make mistakes, grow, and create memories, and “Twenty Somethin’ and Black” was made to help you along the way.
