By Grace Through Faith

Growing up I use to attend a Pentecostal Church and I remember on Sundays hearing the people in the congregation giving their testimonies about how God has been so good to them. I would listen to these testimonies and say “wow! that’s incredible!”

Well here I am about 20 years later writing this article and thinking to myself if it wasn’t for FAITH I don’t know where I’d be.  I have countless amounts of testimonies I could share but instead I’d give you a few words of wisdom.

This I have to share though:

I don’t know about you but having a conversation with God is the most humbling feeling. Take for example, the other day I was talking to my boyfriend about an ultrasound that I observed. I’m not sure how, but I went from talking about how beautiful it was to see the baby inside of the belly on a screen, to the fact that two cells can create a human being with organs, finger nails, eyes, hair and that’s just to name a few. Our Lord Jesus Christ made these things possible.

For some people being humble and patient is a difficult task, nonetheless it is one that needs to be mastered.

I’ve learned that prayer is one thing; a good thing. Having faith is another thing; a good thing. But the two without each other is POINTLESS! You MUST have faith in what you pray for. You MUST believe that God is going to take care of it. But let’s not be naive, having faith makes things possible, not easy.

Whatever you maybe going through remember God’s going to see you through. Our God is a forgiving God and there’s no mountain too high for him to overcome. Whatever you do just remain FAITHFUL!
